Accountability is
Love not Blame
BlindDancer & TouchGoddess
Join us in challenging how we think about accountability and improvement. Holding ourselves and our partners to the highest standards need not be about fear of disappointment and focusing on mistakes. We will dive into tools for focusing on our steady, ongoing improvement rather than on mistakes and disappointment. We will talk about accountability for the small every day improvements as well as the bigger challenges to our dynamics. We will start with personal accountability and expand that to tools for loving, connected accountability.

Master/slave
Research: Insights from the Cutting Edge
Brad Sagarin
As Master/slave and other Authority Transfer relationships continue to capture the vanilla world’s imagination, researchers are increasingly turning their attention to understanding the dynamics of these relationships. In this session, we’ll take a deep dive into the latest research on consensual Authority Transfer and Master/slave relationships. We’ll explore findings on 24/7 dynamics, the negotiation of ongoing consent, community perceptions of M/s, and how these relationships are navigated in daily life. We’ll also discuss what sets M/s apart from other forms of BDSM and examine how researchers are beginning to recognize the emotional depth, structure, and mutual care that characterize these powerful connections.

Beyond Matching
Kinks: Rethinking Compatibility in Master/slave Dynamics-
Brad Sagarin
What makes an Authority Transfer relationship truly work? New research from our lab—conducted with people in a variety of BDSM dynamics—challenges the popular idea that shared kinks are the key to satisfaction. Instead, our findings show that a partner’s willingness to indulge the other’s desires—even when those desires aren’t shared—is more strongly linked to relationship satisfaction than compatibility alone. In this session, we’ll explore our recent study alongside broader relationship research on adaptability, partner responsiveness, effective communication, and shared experiences—all shown to support long-term relational success. We’ll examine how these principles play out in Authority Transfer relationships, where the question of “compatibility” often looks very different than in vanilla partnerships.

Serving While
Being Served
Daddy Daun & slavegirlJ
Sir DaddyDaun was raised in a Southern Baptist family with eight, yes eight, ministers in Her immediate family. Service is the very core of Her being. Those roots have morphed from ‘organized religion’ to a broader spirituality. She not only had to come to grips with changing how She served Her Higher Powers but how to do this while allowing another to serve Her. Meanwhile Her slave, girl j was raised to never ‘buy into’ any religion ever. Ever. Breaking away from those rules, she found her calling was to serve a Master who served Their Higher Powers. Join Sir DaddyDaun and slavegirl j as T/they share how T/their separate paths of Master and slave joined into one of a spiritual Master/slave dynamic.

Pushing Limits
Domina Alluriah
Most who identify on the Left side of the slash has heard at one point or another " I have no limits " or " I want to have my limits pushed ". Without negotiation and consent we can't even begin to know where to start. But what does it mean when you DO know? And how do you do it? After understanding the basic fundamentals and putting them into practice, we often grow and evolve beyond our first steps and often we yearn for harder; for more extreme. In this discussion we will go over what it takes to know when you're ready and how to push past your limits. This class is not exclusive to one side of the slash or another. As a D type how do we safely, patiently and carefully help ourselves as well as our s-types develop and as an s-type, how does one ask, or approach and respectfully request more? The misconception is that our limits are simple and easy to "push" but the reality is much more complicated and nuanced. Together, we'll work to peel back the layers and move forward on our journeys without going too hard too fast and burning ourselves out or souring ourselves altogether by biting into, or off, more than we can chew.

Mentors and
Mentees
Domina Alluriah
Mentors and mentees are an often overlooked component to growth in the lifestyle and world of Power exchange. Many mistake this as a form of power exchange and confuse it with intimate relationships. Mentors can be on either side of the slash, or switches, as well as mentees. This discussion will focus on the dos and don'ts, the important roles they play, and how enriching a journey can become if this type of role is employed. Having been on both sides of this kind of interaction, we will discuss the nuances and misconceptions as well as the purpose and reward of being either a Mentor or Mentee

Writing the Sacred
in M/s
Eldest Saint
In M/s dynamics, not all service is physical. Some of it is written, sung, whispered, and remembered. This class explores the power of storytelling, ritual writing, contracts, and documentation in power exchange. From training logs and House charters to devotional poetry and personal myth, Saint guides participants through the living record of a dynamic. Whether you're the archivist preserving structure or the oracle dreaming the future, you are part of the mythmaking. Leave with tools to record your Leather legacy in both practical and poetic form."

Moving Your Keys
to the Other Side
Eldest Saint
You’ve served for years. Or ruled for decades. And then one day… it shifts. This class explores what happens when someone transitions their public identity in the M/s community, from slave to Master, or Master to slave. How do you know it’s real? How do you explain it to others? How do you navigate stigma, shame, and the fear of being seen as “less real”? Most of us are not carved in stone. We are people. We grow. We break and rebuild. This class offers thoughtful guidance on rebranding, reclaiming, and ritualizing your transition with honesty and dignity. Saint leads a personal and cultural examination of what it means to change your keys, claim a new name, and begin again without erasing who you were.

Ritual Service -
Turn the mundane into something special
Henry & Justin Sabia-Tanis
24/7 relationships are often burdened with the mundane act of living. How do you keep the fire burning with dishes in the sink or the lawn needs mowing or the kids have the flu? We will explore how to bring intention, presence, and meaning into something ordinary. It’s not about adding complexity, but depth. By bringing awareness, gratitude, and intention into the smallest acts you infuse the everyday with the sacred and strengthen your dynamics.

A Higher
Authority: Ten Principles for Service
Henry & Justin Sabia-Tanis
Some of us were taught that the Prime Directive is to protect the property, but what comes after that? This workshop proposes ten principles for a service person’s life that empower us to meet a Master’s desires, stay true to ourselves and enlivened in our service. These principles can inform us in those times when our path seems unclear to us or when our Masters are unavailable to guide us. We’ll look at our own personal principles and consider whether there are principles that are more universal to the institution of consensual service.

Young Leather:
Age, Experience, and Time
Master Bradford & PixieCat
When you hear “young leather” you probably think of a 18-30-year-old, who has just put on their first pair of boots and walked into their first bar or have somewhere between 0-5 years in the lifestyle. You also may think of the “children” who have no idea of the history, the past, the struggles and sacrifices made before their lifetime. However, I’m here to change that. We see a constant struggle in our community both nationally, and locally in bridging the age gap between the elders, and older generation of our community and the younger, new or upcoming Leatherfolk. In this class, you will learn the versatile group that ”young leather” can cover, as well as the similarities and differences, making it easier to talk, bond and grow with the younger generations. To create a community that is a safe haven for our alternative lifestyle, we must make sure we have raised individuals to carry it on.

Non-Binary and
Transgender Dynamics: Understanding the Transition in Your
Dynamic
Master Bradford & PixieCat
Being in a dynamic with a person is complicated enough. Add in a transition for someone who is Female-to-Male or Male-to-Female, or someone who identifies on the non-binary spectrum, can make those already complicated ideas and scenarios, seem daunting. From medical challenges, sexual differences, and navigating the waves of changing in moods and comfort levels (both mentally and physically); we are here to help add some guiding points along the road of non-binary and transgender persons within a dynamic.

Failing
Gracefully, v2.0
Master IceDog & slave Ravyn
We are often terrified at the notion of failing. Society tells us that being a failure sucks. Over and over, we see reaffirmations of these false narratives. In reality, failure can, and often does, lead to success and generally favorable outcomes. The difference is how one reacts to failures and mistakes, intentional and unintentional, how to make things right, accepting our limitations, and working through them. This class takes us through some of our “failures,” past (v1.0) and present (v2.0), to help show how they can be graceful.

Structural
Integrity; Best Practices and Pitfalls
in M/s Protocol Design
Master Dante Amor with Slave Gaia, Slave Sarah and Slave Coco
Structural Integrity; Best Practices and Pitfalls in M/s Protocol Design Rules, rituals, and protocols provide the structural pillars which define most authority dynamics. While some are common and widely practiced, no two relationships are alike and the same holds true of individual dynamic parameters. In their two decades of practicing M/s, members of House Amor have learned that not all rules, rituals, and protocols are created equal. In this class we’ll dig deep into the nuance of designing, implementing, adapting, and and even discarding them at times. Master Dante will share the concept of his Protocol Priority Matrix. We’ll look at how to assess the emotional, psychological, and practical impact of how any given rule, ritual, or protocol is designed and implemented. We’ll explore recipes for success and failure, dispel a few sacred cows, and offer new perspectives on the way these invaluable tools support and inform our dynamics.

Absolutes and
Absolution; Discipline, Punishment,
Shame, and Forgiveness in M/s Dynamics
Master Dante Amor with Slave Gaia, Slave Sarah and Slave Coco
Punishment is a polarizing topic in M/s circles. For some it's a key pillar of the authority dynamic, while others point to extensive psychology research which outlines why it's counterproductive. We'll explore the difference between correction, punishment, and discipline. We'll look at how apology, forgiveness, absolution, and ritual can be potent tools at those times when actions, or the lack thereof, may warrant intentional consequences for the greater good of our dynamics. We'll also look at course correction and re-alignment in M/s when punishment plays no part.

Transitioning an Egalitarian
Relationship to M/s
Master Jim & slave Dee

Navigating Mental
Health Challenges within an M/s dynamic
Master Penguin & slave Ginna
Does having mental health challenges automatically make it so that you cannot be in a healthy M/s dynamic? Not necessarily. In this discussion, we hope to show you tools to help you navigate your M/s dynamic despite mental health diagnoses. Autism, PTSD, ADHD, Trauma, Depression, and more can make navigation in the dynamic trickier. We will be discussing ways to improve your relationship while working toward better mental health. Especially in these challenging times, daily stressors can make things even more difficult. We will be also discussing expectations for coping with mental illnesses and greater awareness about what behaviors can be managed within a diagnosis as well as how we perceive mental health differently as Masters and slaves.

Yoga Pants &
Hockey Dad: Real Life M/s
Master Penguin & slave Ginna
We all have the fantasy picture of what the perfect Power Exchange relationship looks like, with all the leather and chains. But when real life comes calling, the “real” dynamic tends to look a lot different. We discuss ways to ensure that your dynamics can still be fulfilling when wearing yoga pants instead of skimpy leather outfits. With real life responsibilities like taking kids to scouts or band practice, how can the hockey dad and yoga pants mom make time to feed the dynamic that we envisioned in the beginning?

Offering diverse classes, gender neutral bathrooms, safety measures so that everyone feels safe at an event, and so much more. We can work together to create a community where everyone feels seen, heard and respected.
Embracing the
Master/slave You Are
Master RetroBella & slave boydrake
As Masters, we often focus on the mechanics of leading our dynamics, but just as crucial is embracing the leader we are within. This class will explore how our identity, values, and personal experiences influence and shape our unique leadership style in Master/slave dynamics. Through reflective exercises, group discussions, and actionable tools, you’ll gain clarity on what it means to lead authentically on your own terms, not by imitating someone else’s idea of what a Master should be. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or have years of experience, this class provides a space to confidently embrace your leadership role with pride."

Together Over The Distance
Master Robert & slave Megan
“I miss you,” isn’t the glue that keeps our long-distance [M/s D/s] together as nicely as we might hope. Let’s talk about tools and coping mechanisms for maintaining relationships and dynamics. Time, distance, and life challenges are when [M/s D/s] becomes secondary. How do we intentionally keep us together when life is trying to tear us apart

Master SirTee & little kitsune
Whether new or experienced, imposter syndrome can, at times, undermine our beliefs, sense of self, attitudes, and personal confidence (in our abilities, skills, knowledge, etc.). This class is a deep dive into the subversive internal voice of self-doubt and explores how, when left unchecked, it can create real challenges to our identities and relationships - especially when we bring it into our dynamics. Join us as we explore imposter syndrome - from both sides of the slash; we will review strategies for recognizing it, potential sources, the impact on the self and the dynamic, and approaches to address imposter syndrome.

Resistance in an M/s and Power Exchange Dynamics
Master Sir Tee & little kitsune
Whether in a Master/slave, long term, or new Dynamic, conscious or subconscious resistance to the agreed terms of the Dynamic can periodically appear - in behaviours, attitudes, or the follow through on expectations. On the surface it can appear only the s side of the slash can be resistant; however, resistance can manifest for either side of the slash at different points in a Dynamic. Left unchecked and unrecognized, it has the potential to undermine the strongest of Dynamics. This class explores resistance, and how to identify when this is happening in both ourselves and our persons. Sharing from our 28 years living in a long-term Dynamic, we will delve into strategies to identify the source and navigate the impact internal or external factors have on our Dynamics. It is Understanding resistance and developing strategies to mitigate the impact can help overcome misunderstandings, provide opportunities for growth, and build a Dynamic for longevity.

Mastery; From Projection to Reflection
Master Skip
Because, as the Talmud teaches, “We don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are,” relationships of all types are often rife with projection. If such projection goes unrecognized and unaddressed, then alienation, isolation and, ultimately, dissolution of the relationship is the result. In the case of a Master/slave relationship, the slave projects his or her ideas, feelings and attitudes regarding authority figures onto the Master, and if that projection includes anger, fear, blame or guilt, the toll it takes on both the relationship and the Master’s self-esteem can be tremendous. In this enlightening presentation, Master Skip will explore the underlying psycho-spiritual dynamics that make it possible for a Master to stand in the middle of a slave’s projection without moving, neither accepting the projection nor rejecting it and, in doing so, facilitate the slave’s awareness of the projection, the Master’s own sense of competency, and the realization of the true nature of the relationship for them both.

Hormones &
Handcuffs: The Intersection of Trans Identity and Alternate
Lifestyles-
Laura A. Jacobs, LCSW-R
Transgender and gender nonbinary people have nontraditional relationships with their bodies, and it is imperative that members of the kink, BDSM, and M/s members understand who we are and the motivations that bring us to these worlds. This lecture examines the intersection between transgender identities and alternate lifestyles as well as how these lifestyles seem perfectly suited to offer such individuals access to pleasurable forms of sexual expression that bypass – and sometimes subvert – the difficulties often faced by trans and gender nonbinary people otherwise, also arguing that these nontraditional forms of sexual expression are acts of political resistance that facilitate an ongoing examination of the human experience.

Master Malcolm and slave Farrah
You’ve met the person of your dreams. You crave deep connection and power exchange—but every few months, you're stuck in the same fight over control. One of you won't take it. The other won't give it. Why does this keep happening? In this workshop, we go far beyond surface-level dynamics to explore the psychology, communication patterns, and behavioral cycles that create recurring power struggles in Power Exchange (PE) relationships. Using a blend of research, and personal stories we break down the different components of Power Exchange and how missteps in each domain can destabilize even the most consensual dynamics. You'll learn how to identify and correct common errors in leadership, surrender, collaboration, and protocol enforcement. We will help you stop having the same conflict on repeat—and instead, build a dynamic grounded in clarity, collaboration, and consent.

Unreasonable
Hospitality and Magical Service
slave Cita
In Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara, there is a core notion that ordinary experiences can be transformed into extraordinary ones by going above and beyond with sincere, thoughtful service that stems from intentional, heartfelt acts. When applied to an M/s relationship, “unreasonable hospitality” becomes a powerful expression of devotion and attentiveness that deepens trust, appreciation, and feeling valued. Prioritizing mindfulness, personalization, and generosity, while approaching service with genuine care, creativity, and thoughtful touches, the slave can elevate everyday moments into magical ones of authentic connection. Ultimately, “unreasonable hospitality” isn’t about extravagance—it’s about making someone feel they are truly seen and that they matter, which is a powerful gift in any relationship. Of course, the Master’s manner of receiving service is an equally important expression of intention. Come ready to discuss service from either side of the slash and share ideas on how we can elevate service to create moments of magic in meaningful and delightful ways.

Rediscovering the
Slave Heart; Rekindling Joy in Service in Longer-Term
Dynamics
Slave Gaia Amor with Master Dante
We spend so much time talking about building dynamics, but what happens when one feels they’ve lost touch with their slave heart? Join us for a vulnerable discussion about slave Gaia’s journey from finding herself frustrated, angry, ashamed and even resenting service many years in, to discovering new dimensions of surrender and the place she always needed to be in the first place. What happens when you have competing needs? Wanting to be respected, capable, and strong but underlying all of those voices is a deep need to be a joyfully surrendered doormat? How does one justify fighting passionately for societal equity while begging for utter personal objectification and inequity? Join us as we share the journey back to center, where she found her slave heart beating stronger than ever, and how reconciling these questions has dramatically changed the shape of our lives for the better.

slaves - How Much
is Too Much?
Tomo
As slaves, we often strive to align ourselves with the will of another. But over time, the line between surrender and self-sacrifice can blur, and when it does, the impact can be lasting. In this class, we'll explore what it means to surrender with intention, and how to recognize when we may be giving beyond what's healthy, sustainable, or aligned with our core self. We'll discuss how to stay rooted in personal power and identity while offering deep and meaningful service, and how to recognize the difference between surrender that nourishes and surrender that depletes. Together, we'll reflect on questions like: Where is your line? What does "too much" feel like in your body, your mind, or your heart? How do we course-correct when we've given past our limits? Whether you're new to authority exchange or have lived in deep dynamic for years, you're invited into a thoughtful and honest conversation about the power of saying yes, and the importance of knowing when to say no. To provide a safe and open space for reflection, this class is limited to those who serve in hierarchical relationships.

Grounding,
Centering, and Connecting in Authority Exchange Relationships
Tomo
In martial arts, principles like center, balance, alignment, and connection are essential for effective, grounded technique. These same principles can offer powerful insight into authority exchange relationships, especially when applied to how we lead, serve, and stay present through challenge. In this class, Tomo draws on decades of martial arts training and experience in Authority Exchange relationships to explore how we can strengthen our connection and alignment from both sides of the dynamic. We'll look at how staying grounded, emotionally, mentally, and energetically, supports a more intentional exchange of power, even during difficult or uncertain times. Together, we'll examine alignment from both perspectives, explore how the Leader can guide the dynamic with clarity and purpose, and how the follower can navigate obstacles and reconnect with their Master's path with grace and integrity. This class is an invitation to deepen your practice of authority exchange through conscious presence, mutual alignment, and a shared center. All who are interested in or engage in Authority Exchange are welcome.
