Since MsC 2017, we started offering a new concept: Conversations! These are Q&A opportunities with some of our presenters that allows the attendees to ask questions and engage our presenters in many topics.

  • Meet the Author of “Surviving Transphobia”

    Book discussion and question and answer session with Mx Laura (Laura A. Jacobs LCSW-R) with pronouns (she/they/he/none). Mx Laura is a trans and genderqueer-identified psychotherapist, speaker, author, and activist specializing in transgender, nonbinary, LGBTQIA+, BDSM/kink, consensual nonmonogamy, sex work, and sexual/gender diversity individuals broadly. Surviving Transphobia was released on September 21, 2023 and just won the 2025 APA’s Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity’s Distinguished Book Award! All are welcome.
