🕉️ Spirituality at MsC

A sacred space for peace, reflection, and community connection. The spiritual aspects of MsC provide opportunities for reflection, remembrance, and celebration.

A peaceful sanctuary room with candles and soft lighting

🕯️ The Sanctuary

"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lit the flame within us."
~Albert Schweitzer

At the Master/slave Conference we recognized the need to offer a space set aside for the spirit—a place of peace and serenity, to nurture the spark within us, to share the sacred spark we all carry and willingly share with those who need it. We set aside a special place to honor the memory of those who have passed on. Thus was born the Sanctuary. Please visit it and find your peace or share your joy and comfort with others.

Candles lit in memory of those lost

🕯️ Candle Lighting Memorial

Each year MsC takes time to remember Masters and slaves we have lost in the past year. At the end of the Candle Lighting Ceremony, the candles and the pictures of those we lost are moved to our Sanctuary.

People gathered in a circle drumming together

🥁 Drumming Circle

For some, reaching out to the spiritual is done with drums, dance, and wild abandon. Join our Drumming Circle on Friday late evening and help us raise a joyous noise to the Universe.
