REGARDING VENUES

Obtaining venues with suitable facilities and services for our lifestyle events is an ever more challenging task. We have secured a multi-year contract with this venue, and we would like to maintain that. The outcome is beneficial to us all.

We ask that everyone attending the Master/slave Conference adhere to the following simple policies and procedures.

HOTEL POLICIES

The Crowne Plaza supports a family friendly Dress Code. We will be sharing the hotel with general public guests of the hotel - not associated with our event or the Master/slave Conference. We will be supporting the hotel's policies for behavior in all public areas of the hotel. Upon arrival at the registration table, you will be asked to sign an agreement stating that you are familiar with our security policies and that you will abide by them throughout the weekend.

Pursuant to the agreement between the Master/slave Conference and the hotel, the following policy will be in effect for the conference:

No nudity or inappropriate attire shall be permitted in the hotel lobby or any other public area of the hotel. Men need to completely cover their butts, and women need to completely cover their breasts up to and including the area defined by the areola. (Please exercise common sense in interpreting these rules. Applying liquid latex or pasties, for example, will not be deemed adequate.) Both men and women need to completely cover their genitals, when in public areas of the hotel.

"Inappropriate attire" shall include wearing, openly carrying or otherwise displaying "adult toys" such as floggers, whips, chains, leashes etc.

The hotel management has written into their contract with us that they will ask any guest violating these rules to leave the premises of the hotel.

Should you find it necessary to transport your toys through public areas of the hotel, please keep your items in toy bags. Volunteers will be on hand if you need assistance. Public areas of the hotel include outside, pool area and gym on the 5th floor, parking lots, the hotel lobby and hallways, elevators, public restrooms, restaurant and bar. A list of our private function rooms will be identified at the registration table.

Be mindful that the local businesses are NOT a part of the event and that everyday "vanilla" attire and behavior is required. Please use common sense in what you wear and how you behave, both in the hotel and in the community. Let's not be our own worst enemy.

FLYERS & PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

There will be approved locations for the display and distribution of flyers and other promotional materials. Please inquire at the registration desk for this information. Do not place such materials in the public spaces of the hotel, including, as above: outside, gym and pool area on 5th floor, parking lots, the hotel lobby and hallways, elevators, public restrooms, restaurant and bar.

PRIVATE AREA

The entire fourth floor has been secured exclusively for our use. During the Master/slave Conference this area will be accessible only to registered attendees. To gain entry you must be wearing your wrist band and name badge.

The Fetish Marketplace and the MsC Bookstore will be located in the Lincoln Round Ballroom on the fourth floor.

On the first floor, the Chesapeake Room will be available for gatherings throughtout the weekend as our primary meeting space. We encourage all attendees to use this area to meet and mingle and be yourself without having to worry about running into other guests not attending the Conference.

After 10 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the bar and restaurant will be closed to the general public and will host special receptions and informal gathering as private events until 1 AM.  This is a great place to mingle and network in the late evenings.
